I am happy to work with whatever you feel most comfortable with. Some clients use a key safe and share the code with me, or others prefer to give me a spare key for ease. For your security I keep all client keys on a private keyring labeled only with your pet's name, minimising traceability back to your address in the unlikely event a key is misplaced. Key safe codes are stored securely in my phone and password protected.
I definitely accept last minute bookings whenever my schedule allows! I always do my best to help out. However, please be aware that my calendar fills up pretty quickly and I need to prioritise my regular recurring clients, so I can't always guarantee a spot. It is always worth checking in though and I'll let you know as soon as possible if I can make it work!
I am fully qualified with a HNC Diploma in Animal Management, with training in health and welfare, nutrition, nursing, anatomy and physiology. To ensure the highest levels of safety, I also hold a Canine First Aid certification which has just been renewed as of November 2025 and will continue to be updated regularly. I am also DBS checked for your peace of mind.
We provide all healthy treats for walks (please make us aware if your dog has any allergies or sensitivities so that we are able to provide alternative treats). We use all our own eco friendly poo bags. We'll take plenty of fresh water on each walk so ensure your dog stays hydrated throughout the time in our care.
All dogs will be cleaned down and dried as best we can after each walk using our own towels to keep yours clean at home, and often we will use our Mud Daddy for bigger cleanups. All towels and equipment is washed every day ready for the next day. Towels are used once only for each individual dog then stored in a wet bag before washing.
Your dog's walk only begins once I step out the door with them. I often will try to arrive 5 minutes early to allow me to get them ready (more so in the colder months as often extra time is needed to get into coats / jumpers etc.). They will then have their 30 minute or 60 minute walk of your choosing, and on our return any cleanup that is needed is allowed for as extra time — not included in the walk time. Your dog will always get their full 30 or 60 minute walk.
Yes, if you have ticked on your details form that you are happy to receive updates and photos during our walks or home visits. This may consist of photos, videos, information on their walk, where we have been that day, anything that they really loved or enjoyed playing with, along with toileting updates and if there have been any concerns.
My aim is to give you the peace of mind that I would so greatly appreciate with my own fur babies. Often I will try to send updates in real time especially for those first few walks or visits, but sometimes it may be a little after so that I am able to give them my full attention during our time together.
Before our first booking, I do require a short meet & greet — this is free of charge and usually lasts about 15–20 minutes. It allows you a chance to meet me, ask any questions you may have, and gives me the opportunity to get to know yourself and your pet(s) too. It ensures that everything runs smoothly and both you and your pet(s) feel comfortable and confident that we are the right fit and that they are in good hands.
During our meet and greet I will bring with me some information forms to fill out which are really important — these include your details, emergency contacts, veterinary release, along with your pet(s)' routines, health and preferences. I will also bring my qualifications and certificates for you to see if you wish.
Once you are happy we can then look at getting you booked in!
